What is the purpose of our curriculum?
- We nurture well-read, shrewd, informed, enquiring and enthusiastic readers and writers, who are articulate speakers and assiduous listeners. Pupils explore reading material and other media accessible to them.
- We ensure coverage of all aspects of the English National Curriculum alongside the above.
- Our use of the Accelerated Reader program helps motivate readers to broaden their reading content and to strive to be the best reader (and thus writer) that they can be.
